‘Have Two’ Fudge Brownies

Makes:
20 brownies (but everyone eats two)

Ingredients

¾ cup all purpose flour 175 mL
½ cup cocoa powder 125 mL
½ tsp baking powder 2 mL
¼ tsp salt 1 mL 1¼ cups sugar 300 mL
½ cup Simply Egg Whites™ liquid egg whites, well shaken 125 mL
1/3 cup vegetable oil 75 mL 1 tsp vanilla 5 mL

Direction

1. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt in large bowl. In another bowl, whisk sugar, liquid egg whites, oil and vanilla until creamy. Add egg mixture to dry ingredients, stirring just until blended.

2. Pour into greased 8” (20 cm) square pan. Bake at 350°F (180°C) 20-25 minutes or until firm to the touch (do not overbake). Cool and cut into squares. Store in refrigerator.

Tips

Variation: Add ½ cup (125 mL) sliced almonds to flour mixture.
